Its almost time...

for school to start again WOOOOHOOOO!!!! While I will miss the extra 1 and a half hours of sleep I get during the summer, it will be nice to have some sort of schedule back in our lives...and I always feel bad when i don't make Bobbie work in work books over the summer, I know I should and I always start out with good intentions but it never seems to make it past the first week or 2. This year it didn't even make it that far. I am very blessed that we got a new principal this year and he made sure if a parent cared enough to request a teacher then the child would have that teacher, so this year Bobbie will have her first male teacher Mr. Dillon, I am so glad she is going to have him, he is very sweet but will not be walked on, I think they will be a perfect fit, he is fair, but won't put up with her whining.
I was also elected treasurer of the PTA this year, that should be interesting all on its own, but I am glad, I love being involved with Bobbie's school. I like having a say in what happens with her education, and there is nothing like seeing her face light up when I show up to surprise her and eat lunch with her, because I was on campus anyway. Well I guess I have gone on long
enough, but I just can't wait for Monday!!!
