OK so I am a fan of the bachelor, I don't watch every season but I do watch about half of the seasons, and they always bill it as the most dramatic ________(fill in the blank) ever...well this time they were right...up until the last episode it was pretty much standard...guy meets 25 desperate girls, girls fight with each other, guy goes on dates that he would never think up on his own, guy kisses all the girls and make them feel special, guy sends home all but 2 girls...now we get to the good part...guy (who we all thought was so sweet, cause he got rejected by the bachelorette last time and because he is a single dad and his son is supposedly his whole life) says good-bye to one of the girls and asks the other to marry him ( that is par for the course) then at the after show thing where we catch up on what they have all been up to for the last 6 weeks guy tells host of show that he is going to dump the girl he chose on national TV and ask girl he dumped for another shot...this is where I got so mad that I threw the remote at the dog (thank God for Tanner I have a bad aim) so he brings out this girl, with whom he has spent the holidays with and I assume has spent tons of time getting to know his son (although said son, who is supposedly his whole life was never mentioned...by either party), and he dumps her with the "It's not you" speech...girl is much more classy than I would have been and asks why he is not willing to fight for her...Guy makes up lame excuse after Lame excuse and girl mutters under her breath "you are such a bastard"...Again, so much nicer than I would have been...girl then gets into limo after telling guy (whom we will now refer to as Rat Bastard) not to call or text her ever again...once in limo she is talking to the camera about how hurt she is, but didn't want to show him that (can you blame her? he just dumped her on national TV...Rat Bastard) and then they bring out the other girl the one he dumped 6 weeks ago and she told him when he dumped her that he was making a mistake (guess she was right)..the host talks to her for a bit with out the rat bastard there and asks her if she still has feeling for the loser ( he used the rat bastards name) and she said her feelings had not changed and she was still in love with him and that was an emotion that you can't just turn off ( she was wrong he was able to turn it off with Girl #1)...then they brought the rat bastard out and her told girl #2 that he broke up with girl #1 ( he didn't mention it was on TV) and that he wanted to go out for a drink with her and give their relationship a shot...now at this point I would have asked if he was serious or if he was going to change his mind again...she just said OK and started kissing him...oh well there is another after the rose thing on tonight, maybe he will dump girl #2 and try it with girl #3...or maybe the host is more the rat bastards type...either way I hope if...no when he dumps the next one that he at least has the balls to do it in a manly way and not on TV for all to see...
I have seen 2 interviews with him today and he keeps saying that everyone is mad at him and he is OK with it because it is his real life and he is living it, we are not...well he chose to get into this situation and he chose to pick girl #1 and ten dump her 6 weeks after he asked her to marry him for girl #2...TV or not this would piss me off, he says he was falling in love with 2 girls at once and makes it like we should feel sorry for him, i might have, if he hadn't gotten down on one knee and asked girl #1 to marry him...if you are in love with 2 girls and you are that unsure why not just hand girl #1 a rose and say "I pick you, lets go hang out"...nope instead he broke her heart on TV and took from her the special moment of getting proposed to, now when she does find a good guy the proposal will still be very special but will be lacking a little something because it won't be the first one...well I am done venting...for now at least...we will see how tonight's show goes....
