Nervous...

Nervous--viewing the future with anxiety or alarm...

I know I am normally seen as a pretty confident person, some one who knows what she wants and goes for it ( I didn't get married at 18 because I was indecisive), but some times that is not always the case, sometimes I know what I want, but I am not sure how to go for it...sometimes I am just as nervous as everyone else, some times more so...
I have always wanted to come off as a confident person, and sometimes I think that may be to my detriment, yes I know what I want, but do I always know how to get it....nope...are there times when I know how to get it but am to nervous to do what ever it takes...yep...so sometimes I just "lay in wait" for things to come to me....not always the best idea...but I am working on it...so if you are waiting for me to do something and I have not yet done it, it doesn't mean I don't want to it just means I am human and my nerves sometimes get in the way, and sooner or later (hopefully sooner) I will kick my nerves out of the way and do what I want to do but what my nerves keep getting in the way of...

( How's that for not talking about work ;-).... I kept my promise no work talk)

I will always love you, no matter what you do...

That is what daddy told me when ever I did some thing really wrong...."I will always love you, no matter what you do, I just might not be as proud of you as I usually am..." Well I think that fits for how I am feeling right now... I went to play in the snow ( another blog and pictures on that another time I promise) yesterday and while up there the phone reception is really bad and if my phone can not get a signal it turns itself off (a fact I did not know until last night at about 10 pm)...When I went to see why I wasn't getting any calls (thinking I had turned to volume down) I saw it was off, upon turning it on I saw I had 3 messages...one of which was a friend of mine, Daniel telling me that he is truly sorry for my loss and he had just heard the news...he went on to tell me about how the Lions have set a record of the most losses, ever...

So while I am not the proudest I have ever been, I still Love you my Lions!!!

Changes....

I don't know if it is the time of year, or maybe it is just a coincidence, but there have been a lot of changes going on in my life lately, most of them, have been in my head and are not really viewable to the outside world, but they are pretty big, and I have been kind of wrapped up in my head lately, and not getting very much sleep (hence the sleep survey I had on here)...One of the big things is work, The stupid "big boss" fired Daniel...I know crazy right, I knew I would miss him, but I had no idea how much I would miss him (and its not just that we have no one who knows how to fix all the computery type stuff...I miss sharing an office and all the little day to day type stuff) and Dumb and Dumber get away with murder, I have no idea what they say or do to the boss, but they get away with anything and everything, but I have gotten to the point where the stress is going to eat me alive if I don't just let it go, so that is exactly what I am trying to do, I try not to think or talk about work at all once I have walked out of the office door...When I am at work I try to avoid all the drama, and stay out of every ones way, now this doesn't mean that I condone what dumb and dumber have done and it doesn't mean that I am not going to do everything I can possibly think of to make sure they are not gone as soon as possible, They have hurt some of the coolest people I know and have come to love, they have caused me to be grumpy with my family and take work stuff out on my kids and that is not acceptable as well as she has to be the most stupid person I have ever met, she has worked there for almost 6 months and still hangs on on people when she is trying to put them on hold...not to mention all the other numerous things going on...so I have decided to do as Daddy would say "let go and let god." or as Jenn would say "karma is a bigger bitch than I could ever be"... We had our work "Christmas party" yesterday and it was horrible...no body spoke unless the "big boss" asked them a question and then it was as short of an answer as possible...so that's it I am done putting effort into it...this will be my last blog about work, unless someone gets fired...

Now maybe I can put my mind on other things and get done more of the stuff I want to do, and I am going to be able to be nicer to my Family and Friends....

I am so sorry to those of you who have had to listen to me bitch and moan... this was the last time...

How we spent our Thanksgiving 2008

So we did not do the traditional Thanksgiving, we are not fans of turkey, and we are grateful for our friends and family everyday of the year so we decided to go to Sea World for Thanksgiving and we decided to drag along Jessica ( My BFF, Bestie, or what ever the kids are calling best friends now days)...see my Lions Jersey (part of my birthday gift)We did want to make is special since it was a holiday, so we had breakfast with Shamu. The food was awesome, not that Bobbie even noticed ( she sat watching the tank and trainer the whole time, I think she may have taken 2 bites total), Krista on the other hand was chowing down the whole time...From there we went to pet the rays, it was a blast for everyone, we even got to feed them (that was kinda odd feeling) and they splashed everyone (except me and Krista...haha) but it was great a fun time was had by all.... Then Bobbie and Robert ran to see a show that was standing room only, the rest of us opted to sit so we went over to a bench and look at the flamingos, but Krista wanted a better look, so Auntie Jessica went with her...

Then we all met up and went to the Shark encounter, where my lovely oldest daughter decided I needed bunny ears ( I will get even)...

Then we went to the Manatee rescue and Bobbie fell in love....

Then we went to the other part of my birthday gift...we took a DIP....

The water was cold and the Dolphins name was Sandi...she wanted to be pet...

so we pet her her back...

and rubbed her belly...

and Bobbie danced with her...

Then I danced with her...

Then Robert gave her a high 5 , but it was to quick for the camera to catch...

Then we posed for pictures...

We all took pictures alone with Sandi....but Bobbies is the only one that was cute... Robert was jealous that Bobbies picture turned out better than his so he was going to throw her in after we got back dressed...lol...

Then we headed home, and 3 of the 5 of us fell asleep on the way home, I will give you a hint as too who 2 of the sleepers were...

Thanksgiving

I will post more about my day at a later date, but for now I wanted to tell all of you how thankful I am to have you in my life, each person that reads this blog is very special to me, some I have known for years, some are recent additions to my life, some are VERY dear friends that I had lost touch with and have come back into my life, and one I have known since before I was born, no matter who you are, I wanted to say thank you for being a part of my life. I hope whom ever you were with and what ever you did that you had an awesome day and that when you lay your head down on your pillow tonight, you know that you are a special person and that while I am thankful to have you in my life I am most certainly not alone in that...XOXO

I want my money back!

So Just to do a quick update before I get into my birthday night...I have been reading the Twilight Saga and have read each book at least 5 times ( i think it might be 6)...so since the movie was coming out the day after my birthday I figured what a way to end my last birthday ever ( now that I am 29 I refuse to get any older, I am calling it a holding pattern) than by going to the midnight showing of the movie that is SUPPOSED to be the on screen version of the first book in this awesome 4 series saga? Well at this point just about anything would have been better, sleep for example, getting my eyebrows wax, hell even getting a bikini wax would have topped how I felt last night. I literally sat through the movie say " That's wrong." or "that isn't supposed to happen here." or the best one, and one that was muttered the most often " that was never in the book!" and the number one most muttered not just by me but by others around me is a tie between " What the hell?" and "What the f^(k?"...I still LOVE the books and will continue to read them over and over, but the movie...well it sucked big hairy toad balls...

Am I glad I saw it?...yes...after reading and loving the books so much I would have always wondered if I would like it or not

Am I glad I went to the midnight showing?...nope...I could have slept last night and been less cranky this morning, and I could have saved 3 bucks ( not a lot of money but it would have paid for half my soda), and my curiosity would have been satisfied...

Will I go see the other movies when they come out?...yes, for one I want to see if they get any better, and two because I love the books so much I would almost feel guilty if I did not go see them.

Will I go to the midnight showing of the next 3?...HELL NO!!!!! I will go to a Monday matinee when everyone is at school or work

When any/all of the movies come out on DVD will I buy them?...Probably...I would love to have a set of movies to put up on the shelf next to the set of the books

Will I watch and of said DVD's?...nah...they will probably remain in the wrapping ( unless they start to get better.

So go see the movie, but don't expect greatness, because you will not get it...

Bobbie has decided to ask religous questions...

So my 8 year old is basically looking for the meaning of life ( I think she is a bit early on this?!?) so while asking me questions about different religions I have tried my hardest to find the answers for her, or at least someone who can answer her questions...she talked to a friend of hers that's is a Jehovah's witness and ruled that out almost immediately because of lack of celebrating birthdays and holidays ( hey, while she is very smart she is still part me...lol...) she asked about Catholicism, and ruled that out because she wants to be able to use birth control ( she wants to adopt babies who need a home instead of making new ones ), she then spoke to my friend Taryn about Mormons ( is that the PC term or is it LDS? I don't want to offend, but I am not sure) and so far besides Southern Baptist ( how I grew up) she seems to think that makes the most sense....so on Sunday she is going to church ( I think they call it temple?) with Taryn and her family....When I was telling one of my friends about what was going on, he told me that I should not let Bobbie choose her own religion, that she should be what I am and that she is too young to pick for herself...personally I believe that if she is old enough to ask the questions then she is old enough to get the answers, and to decide for her self... I think as a parent it is my job to encourage her to ask questions and to seek answers from wise people and to make decisions for herself...I am looking for feed back on your thoughts on this, if you agree with me or if you don't tell me and tell me why....this parenting stuff is tricky and I need some input...

Are we all alike?

A friend of mine posted this blog...and disabled her comments so she would not have to see that we all think she is weird....the problem with her logic is that I don't think she is weird, in fact I was laughing so hard when I read her blog, because I am the same way...I am so bad that I bought a GPS system so that I would stop doing that, but....it didn't work, now not only am I thinking like her, but I also am thinking is the GPS broke? then I push the button to see if I am still on track...So if you are reading this sweet Cherish, you are not alone and not weird...I am right there with you!...I am leaving my comments turned on because I would like to know if Cherish and I are the odd ones or if there are others like us...Please comment on how you think when going someplace...

I am so sick of drama at work...

Last night I read my co-worker/friends blog and it upset me alot that it has come to this at my work. I used to enjoy my job. I liked going to work, I liked the people I worked with, I felt good getting up in the morning and going to work, it wasn't much but it made me feel like I was helping my family...Now...well now I hate it I hate getting up I hit the snooze button at least twice before I can drag myself up and out of bed...Well today Daniel didn't show up at work and the ass took that as an opportunity to come in my office and grill me about what was wrong with Daniel and why Daniel was giving him the silent treatment, and while in my brain I was screaming out that it is because between you and your wife, you are sucking the life out of this place and you make us all want to run screaming as far away from you as we can get, but what I actually said was "I don't know, that is between you and Daniel." and yet he kept at it and it made me actually laugh out loud thinking of Daniels blog and the comparison to a yip yip dog, because quite frankly that's exactly what it was like he just kept at it nipping at my sanity (instead of my ankles) the whole time...even the Manager from her office could tell I was getting frustrated ( maybe it was the way I kept repeating "I don't know you'll have to talk to Daniel, it is between the two of you." or maybe it was the way I kept jingling my keys, trying to let him know it was time for me to go home...), she even called my cell to ask if I need saving and I said yep, she said this was her saving me or at least trying to...even then he kept at me until I said " I don't want to be rude, but I have a message I have to give the manager." and walked out on him still nipping at my sanity...so here I am debating...do I call in sick or do I suck it up and go in to work? if I go to work what do I do when he corners me again? which he inevitably will...oh and to top it off the whole time he was in my office he kept staring at my chest, and while I know I am quite large in that area it doesn't give him free reign to ogle....ahhh well I am off to bed, I have to get up in the morning to go to the hell hole I call work...
